I love floral prints just as much as I love novelty prints. Perfect for Spring, floral prints are available in nearly all colors and types of fabric. I purchased this floral cotton fabric from JoAnn. The combination of colors caught my eye and I knew I had to make another dress!

I made this dress using Butterick 5982. I made View C and substituted the bateau neckline from View A. The bodice features princess seams and short sleeves, and the skirt combines soft pleats with gathers. I added pockets, but otherwise made no changes (aside from the neckline substitution). The pattern also features a matching belt with velcro closure.

If you can't tell, this dress is exactly my style -- fit and flare featuring short sleeves, pockets, and a colorful print!

Love the creativity behind this dress the floral print, princess seams and pockets all come together beautifully! Also on a fun note I recently grabbed the Adidas × Oasis Tour Coach Jacket, and it’s been my go-to when I want something stylish and confident. Your sewing inspiration + this jacket = a look I’m excited to pair next. Great post!

Nice post! I loved how you broke down the dress-making process and shared your love for bold prints and classic style. It reminded me of the confident flair of the The Voice S28 Team Reba Sweatshirt stylish, expressive, and all about owning your look.

Reading this lovely post about the dress and how you found a fabric you loved, made me remember a time when I was working on a long assignment that had all the pieces but didn’t yet feel like a unified piece of writing. I reached a point where I knew something had to change, so I turned to a university dissertation editing service not to hand it off, but to get help aligning the flow, fine-tuning structure, and letting my ideas fit together with clarity and care.

I loved reading your piece it reminded me of a moment when I really wrestled with my own sense of responsibility. I found myself tempted to pay someone to do my online exam, imagining it would just lift the weight off my shoulders. But just like your story shows, real growth comes when we lean into the discomfort instead of walking around it. I logged in, faced the timer, the blank screen, the doubt and even though it wasn’t perfect it became mine. Thanks for reminding us that whether it’s a dress, a blog post or an exam, there’s something powerful about saying “I’ll handle this” and following through.
